Corona vaccine reaches Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: The Serum Institute of India developed Coronavirus vaccine Covishield reached Hyderabad today. A total of 3.72 lakh doses of the Covishield reached Shamshababd airport today morning. Telangana government arranged 866 cold storage units across the state to preserve the coronavirus vaccine. Coronavirus vaccination will be administered across 1213 centres in the state from 16th January.
The Pune Serum Institute sent vaccine doses to Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Guwahati, Ahmedabad, Shillong, Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Patna, Bhubaneswar, Bengaluru, Lucknow & Chandigarh. Coronavirus vaccine will be administered to the frontline warriors and healthcare staff in the first phase.
