CM Jagan offers laptop as option instead money for Amma Vodi beneficiaries

Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has offered Rs 25,000 worth free laptop as an option instead of money from next academic year onwards for Amma Vodi beneficiary while addressing a public meeting in Nellore. Earlier, the CM credited Rs 6,673 crore into the accounts of scheme beneficiaries. He showed a sample laptop to be distributed to mothers of children studying from ninth to twelfth classes. Participants in the meeting shouted at once by seeing the laptop. Education Minister Audimulapu Suresh, Irrigation Minister Anil Kumar Yadav, and officials were present.
