SEC Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar writes letter to AP employee unions
AMARAVATI: Andhra Pradesh State Election Commissioner Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar reacted to the state employee union leaders questions over conducting local body polls amind COVID-19 pandemic. Nimmagadda wrote an open letter to the employees. He requested everyone to cooperate to conduct elections in the state. Nimmagadda said that the objections of the employees came to their notice and are going to provide PPE kits, face shields and sanitisers to the election duty staff.
He further added that they requested to give priority to election staff during the vaccination. He said that the election should be conducted with irrespective of politics and added that funds will be allotted to the state if elections conducted within the time.
