South Korea researchers unveils inflatable isolation wards: COVID-19
To prevent the spread of airborne pathogens, South Korean researchers have designed an inflatable negative pressure isolation ward that can be used to treat corona patients. The idea is mooted out with a solution to battle the shortage of hospital beds. According to the reports, the tents, the size of a basketball court, can be installed and equipped to offer their services less than a day.
The rooms are also designed with panels that allow medical staff to provide assistance or pass things like food without entering the room and avoiding burn out from wearing cumbersome gear.
