Farmer ends life at Delhi's Singhu border
NEW DELHI: Amid protest, a 40-year-old farmer committed suicide on the Singhu border on Saturday. The deceased identified as Amarinder Singh, resident of Mashrai village in Punjab. According to the reports, he ended his life by consuming poison on the backside of the stage and later entered the front side of the stage, collapsed.
Baldev Singh Sirsa, chief of the Samyukt Morcha admitted the farmer into a private hospital where he took his last breath while undergoing the treatment. It is known that Sant Ram Singh and other farmer ended their lives by committing suicide at Delhi borders.
