SIT officials speed up investigation in Ramatheertham incident
The Special Investigation Team (SIT) officers sped up the investigation on attacks on Hindu gods idols in temples in Andhra Pradesh. It is known that the Andhra Pradesh government formed SIT to investigate the attacks on temples. SIT officials on Saturday hold first meeting to investigate the incidents. It is said that officials questioning 32 suspects in the case and focusing more on four members.
It is learnt that the officials suspecting there is no involvement of locals in the incident and investigating the case with the help of cell tower signals. SIT took former Sarpanch husband Kotipati Tirupati Rao into the custody and tracing the details of the Ramatheertham temple employees who are on leave. SIT gathering the details over 23 incidents took place in the temples from the past few months.
