Rollout of covid vaccine administration in AP after Sankranti festival

The AP government is gearing up for covid vaccine administration after the Sankranti festival. Meanwhile, the Medical and Health Department will be conducting the programme of administering oral polio vaccine to children below five years on January 18 and 19. The Centre is setting up 5,000 centres all over India for covid vaccination in which 332 centres are coming up in AP.
Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will inaugurate a vaccine drive in the state on the same day the PM launches the vaccination programme. In the first phase, the Central government has selected AP and Telangana states for implementation of covid vaccination.
