Ten infants die in fire accident in Maharashtra
In a shocking incident, ten newborn babies died in a major fire accident took place at the Sick Newborn Care Unit (SNCU) of Bhandara District General Hospital in Maharashtra today. According to the sources, 17 infants between one month to three months old undergoing treatment in the unit and 10 out of them died in the incident. Fire tenders rescued 7 infants.
The reason behind the incident is yet to identify but suspected that a short circuit is a reason behind it. State CM Uddhav Thackeray ordered an investigation over the incident.
