6 things you should know if you are applying for H-1B visa

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has released the latest norms for the new H-1B selection process in the Federal Register. The existing lottery selection process for scrutinizing far more applications has been replaced with a wage-based selection process. Six new things need to know if one is applying for an H-1B visa.
Some of these include selection based on standard wage level, exemptions in the quota limit, high payment towards high skilled foreign professionals, the rule to be effective 60 days from the date of publishing, selection between H-1B regular cap and H-1B advanced degree.
