Farmer unions don't want solution: BJP leader Surjit Kumar Jyani
NEW DELHI: Punjab Bharatiya Janata Party leaders Surjit Kumar Jyani and Harjit Singh Grewal met Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday to discuss on ongoing farmers protest issue. After meeting the Amit Shah, BJP leader Surjit Kumar Jyani said that the Centre is ready to fulfil all the demands of the farmers but the stubborn farmers now demanding to repeal the law. He added that the farmers' unions don't want a solution for the issue and it seems their plan is something else.
Earlier, Jyani and Grewal also met PM Modi over the issue. He added that the Law and order is ruined in Punjab and protests are going on. On Friday, the Centre is going to hold talks with the protesting farmers. It is known that the farmers are staging a protest against the Center's new farm laws and demanding to repeal them.
