CM Jagan takes key decision; Govt to rebuild demolished temples at Vijayawada
Andhra Pradesh government, headed by CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, has decided to rebuild the temples demolished during the Telugu Desam Party regime. According to the reports, 21 temples got destroyed near the Prakasham Barrage during Krishna and Godavari Pushkaralu in the TDP regime. AP government is going to rebuild eight temples in Vijayawada in the first phase. AP government has sanctioned two crores rupees towards the construction of these temples.
Endowments Minister Vellampalli Srinivasa Rao said the second phase of temple construction would be done after completing temples in the first phase. Forty such temples will be constructed in the thirteen districts, Vellampalli Srinivasa Rao said. CM Jagan is going to lay the foundation stone of the temple in Vijayawada on January 8th.
