AP govt issues circular to remove Ashok Gajapathi Raju from Ramatheertham trust chairman post
AMARAVATI: Andhra Pradesh government issued orders removing Ashok Gajapathiraju from the chairman post of the Ramatheertham Ramaswamy Temple Trust, Mandapally Mandeshwaraswamy Temple and Vijayanagaram Paiditally Temples Trust. It is mentioned in the orders that Ashok Gajapatiraju failed to prevent the vandalism of the Lord Sri Rama idol and protection to the Ramatheertham temple.
It is known that some miscreants destroyed the Lord Sri Rama idol on 29th December in Ramatheertham and on 31st December Lord Subrahmanyeswara Swamy idol vandalised in Rajahmundry.
