CBI raids former TDP MP Rayapati Sambasiva Rao's residence
GUNTUR: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Friday is conducting raids at the residence of former Telugu Desam Party MP Rayapati Sambasiva Rao. It is said that the raids conducted in an alleged defaulting loan case in which he has taken Rs 300 crore from banks for his Transstroy India Limited. Reports said that the former TDP MP took Rs 300 crore for his construction company Transstroy India Limited and it turned into NPA after failed to repay the loan amount.
CBI officials along with bank staff reached Rayapati Sambasiva Rao's residence and conducting the raids from today morning. The officials questioning the former MP and his son and collecting the information regarding Transstroy India Limited. Click the video for more detailed information.
