Race for TPCC chief post: Komatireddy Venkat Reddy meets Sonia Gandhi

Several Telangana Congress leaders are aspiring to become the TPCC president. MP Komatireddy Venkat Reddy has met AICC chief Sonia Gandhi in Delhi and reportedly impressed upon her for appointing him as the TPCC president. CLP leader Bhatti Vikramarka and MLA D Sridhar Babu are also in the race for the Telangana Congress chief post.
The Congress leaders from Telangana are meeting Sonia and requesting her to give priority to the seniors and not to those leaders, who have joined the Congress in the recent past. Meanwhile, TPCC state affairs in-charge Manickam Tagore had submitted a report to Sonia regarding the TPCC chief appointment.
