No mention about MSP in new farm laws: KTR
TRS working president and Minister for IT and Municipal Administration K Taraka Rama Rao found fault with the BJP-led NDA government for not ensuring minimum support price (MSP) for farm produce. Speaking to the media at the dharna site on the national highway near Shadnagar, the minister alleged that three new farm bills were passed in the Rajya Sabha despite the BJP and its allies not having a majority. KTR stated that the TRS has voted against farm bills in both houses of the Parliament. New farm laws are in favour of corporates and not farmers, he added.
