Modi govt must withdraw farm laws, demands MLC K Kavitha; KTR sits on dharna at Shadnagar

TRS MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha on Tuesday participated in a dharna along with TRS leaders and workers in Kamareddy district headquarters, opposing new farm laws of the BJP-led NDA government. She demanded the Modi government to withdraw farm laws that are detrimental to the interests of farmers.
To a question, the MLC stated that 25 political parties have extended support to the all-India strike call given by farmers’ groups. Meanwhile, TRS working president and Minister for IT and Municipal Administration K Taraka Rama Rao sat on a dharna on the national highway at Shadnagar in support of farmers.
