GHMC election results 2020: TRS MLC K Kavitha answers to national media

The results for 99 seats have been declared in Hyderabad. TRS has won 41 seats, AIMIM 34, BJP 24 & Congress bagged 2 seats. TRS MLC K Kavitha speaking to a national media said they might fall short of 100 in the GHMC elections 2020. TRS MLC noted they still have the hope of 30 to 40 seats as the counting process is going on. She said people of Hyderabad have supported TRS seeing the development by the TRS government. It looks like people of Hyderabad have decided to support TRS keeping in mind the peace, prosperity and development in Hyderabad city, K Kavitha said.

Reacting to a question of BJP as a strong opposition, K Kavitha said BJP is far from the position of strong opposition. She took a dig at the BJP national leaders campaigning for the GHMC elections in Hyderabad and asking for the votes without helping the state government on the recent flood.
