TRS wins Yousufguda, registers first victory in GHMC elections

The TRS on Friday registered its first victory in the GHMC elections. Party candidate Rajkumar Patel has won as a corporator from Yousufguda. The counting of ballot votes for 150 divisions of Greater Hyderabad has started on Friday. Till now, the TRS is leading in 41 divisions, BJP and MIM are ahead of their rivals in 21 divisions each. Results are going to be delayed as ballot votes have to be counted manually. There are allegations that better facilities were not provided to staff involved in counting votes at various centres.
