AIADMK breaks silence over Rajinikanth’s political entry

The silence on Rajinikanth’s political entry has finally been broken by the AIADMK. AIADMK Minister and senior leader D Jayakumar said Rajini’s entry will not affect their vote bank. This comes after the actor-turned-politician made an announcement on Thursday of entering into politics.
Further, Rajinikanth also mentioned that he will make an announcement regarding his political party on December 31st. According to political analysts, the BJP wants to forge an alliance either with Rajinikanth or AIADMK ahead of the 2021 Assembly elections. Will the popularity of Rajinikanth translate into votes which is something that is yet to be seen.
