CM Jagan launches AP-Amul Project, says money will be deposited into farmers’ accounts within 10 days
Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Wednesday launched the AP-Amul Project at his camp office in Tadepalli. Speaking on the occasion, the CM stated that milk would be procured from 400 villages of Chittoor, Kadapa, and Prakasam districts in the first phase. Later, the procurement of milk will be extended to 9,899 villages in all 13 districts, he added.
YS Jagan mentioned that the AP Amul Dairy Association will deposit the money into the accounts of dairy farmers within 10 days after collecting the milk. “The AP government started the project to generate permanent recurring income to women for the next 30 to 100 years,” he stated.
