Hyderabad voters shock all parties with poor turnout at GHMC polls

The voters' response came as a big shock with low turnout at GHMC polls on Tuesday(December 1). The voters of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) election took lightly in franchising their votes amid corona threat and disinterest in the political system that is degrading day by day.

The political parties drifting away from people's issues and indulging in agenda on communal and emotional issues, have disappointed them.

Out of over 74 lakh voters present in the GHMC area, even 30 lakhs voters have not cast their votes.

Intellectuals and analysts fault on parties for their politics away from the people.
