TDP national president and opposition leader N Chandrababu Naidu on Monday said that he sat in the Speaker’s podium for the first time in support of farmers. Speaking to the media, the TDP chief came down heavily on the ruling YSRCP government for not taking crop loss in 20 to 25 lakh acres because of floods and Cyclone Nivar very seriously.
Chandrababu mentioned that the TDP government used to think several times before suspending the opposition MLAs from the House. He criticised Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for suspending 13 TDP MLAs including him from the Legislative Assembly.
