India restricts international flights till Dec 31, allows select flights
The Government of India has passed a new order on Thursday on the operation of the International flights. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) said in a circular that international flight ban has been extended till 31 December amid the ongoing novel covid-19 pandemic.
However, it has clarified that the restrictions to flights are not going to be applied on international all-cargo operations and flights specially approved by the DGCA. Under the Vande Bharat Mission since May, the special permitted international flights have been operating under the bilateral air bubble arrangements with selected countries.
