Tirupati LS bypoll: Pawan Kalyan gives shock to AP BJP leaders
Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan met the BJP top leaders in Delhi on Tuesday and urged them to allow Jana Sena to contest for the ensuing Tirupati Lok Sabha byelection as a return gift for withdrawing from the GHMC elections. Pawan Kalyan’s move came as a surprise to the AP BJP leaders as they were preparing to field their candidate in the bypoll to the Tirupati parliamentary constituency. They thought the campaign by Pawan Kalyan will improve their winning chances in Tirupati. AP BJP affairs in-charge Sunil Deodhar, BJP national secretary Y Satya Kumar, AP BJP president Somu Veerraju and other BJP leaders are requesting the top leadership to convince Pawan Kalyan.
