Russia files case against US tech giant Google
HYDERABAD: Russia filed a case against US tech giant Google for failing to delete the banned content from the search engine. Communications watchdog Roskomnadzor said that Google filed to remove 30 per cent of dangerous content which includes pornographic, extremist and suicidal nature. It is learnt that it could lead to a court case and may impose a fine of up to 5 million roubles.
However, Google in Russia denied making any comments on the issue. Earlier, a Russian court fined 1.5 million roubles for failing to block content banned in Russia. Click the video for more detailed information.
