Second wave: Is AP govt contemplating to impose lockdown?
Higher officials of the Medical, Health, and Family Welfare Department are expressing concern over the rise in positive cases in the districts of Krishna and Guntur. Earlier, East and West Godavari districts have registered more number of Covid cases in the state.
However, the AP government is on high alert as northern states have imposed night curfew to prevent the spread of coronavirus. The State’s finances had taken a blow after the prolonged lockdown imposed after the pandemic broke in India. However, the state government may impose a lockdown as a second wave is expected in December.
