Telangana Chief Minister KCR has promised to take all the necessary measures to rescue the Telugu film industry from the COVID 19 crisis. Accordingly, while addressing the film fraternity during a meeting, CM KCR has said concessions and exemptions would be given to support the industry and its workers. His government has released orders stating that theatres can be opened in the state with 50% occupancy.

Tollywood Mega Star Chiranjeevi has reacted to it and tweeted thanking CM KCR for his kind gesture. His tweet reads thus, 'Heartfelt Thanks to Hon'ble CM Shri. #KCR garu for the relief measures to the film industry. Trust that these compassionate measures surely will go a long way in reviving the industry badly hit by the pandemic and put it back on the path to progress. #TelanganaCMO'.
