Manifesto: KCR showers sops on Tollywood, says GO will be issued today for opening theatres
TRS president and Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao on Monday showered sops on Tollywood technicians and junior artistes while announcing the TRS manifesto for the GHMC elections. Briefing the media, the CM said that ration and health cards and other benefits would be extended to 40,000 persons including technicians and junior artistes working in the Telugu film industry. He mentioned that 9 per cent GST of the state’s share would be reimbursed for the low-budget films produced with Rs 10 crore or less. On Monday itself, a GO would be issued for reopening of theatres, he added.
