No permanent building in Amaravati with Rs 7,200 crore in Chandrababu rule: Somu Veerraju
AP BJP president Somu Veerraju on Saturday slammed TDP national president N Chandrababu Naidu for not constructing a single permanent building in Amaravati even after spending Rs 7,200 crore. Speaking to the media in Rajahmundry, Veerraju stated that the Central government constructed the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Mangalagiri with only Rs 1,800 crore. “Andhra Pradesh did not benefit from the previous five-year rule of Chandrababu,” he stated. The BJP chief came down heavily on the TDP for speaking in support of holding elections to local bodies during SEC Nimmagadda Ramesh tenure.
