Congress leader Sonia Gandhi shifts to Goa on medical advice
PANJIM: Congress party president Sonia Gandhi moved to Goa after medical advice to avoid heavy smog and air pollution in Delhi. As per sources, Sonia Gandhi (73) along with her son Rahul Gandhi airdashed to Goa on Friday afternoon and will stay in Goa till the air quality in Delhi improved. It is learnt that the doctors advised the Congress president Sonia Gandhi to shift out of the New Delhi to a safe place with cleaner air.
Hospital sources said that the increased air pollution in Delhi showed its impact on her asthma and chest condition and medications are not showing any improvement. It is known that Sonia Gandhi was admitted to the hospital in July for a chest infection and undergoing treatment.
