VK Sasikala pays Rs 10 crore fine, expects early release

TAMIL NADU: VK Sasikala, the close aide of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa has paid Rs 10 crore fine and soon she will be released from the prison. It is known that Sasikala was served in the disproportionate assets case. Her lawyer confirmed the news. As per sources, Rs 10 crore fine was deposited at a court in Bengaluru and is expected that the court will inform the news to the jail authorities about the fine paid by the Sasikala.
Sources said that she will be released from the jail before expected date 27th January 2021. Tamil Nadu CN K Palaniswami said that she will not be allowed to join AIADMK.
