SEC Nimmagadda complains to Governor against AP govt
State Election Commissioner Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar met with Governor Biswa Bhusan Harichandan on Wednesday. The meeting between them lasted for 40 minutes. Ramesh complained to the Governor that the AP government is not allowing the State Election Commission (SEC) to conduct the Panchayat elections. He submitted a report to the Governor explaining the reasons for holding the Panchayat polls. In the report, the SEC stated that coronavirus has subsided in the state compared to the past. He also informed the Governor that the SEC had taken permission from the CS for conducting a video conference with district collectors and SPs.
