Nimmagadda wants to conduct Panchayat polls in response to Chandrababu’s letter: Kodali Nani
Civil Supplies Minister Kodali Nani on Wednesday said that the AP government is not ready to conduct Panchayat elections. Speaking to the media in Gudivada, the minister slammed State Election Commissioner Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar for releasing proceedings for holding Panchayat elections based on the letter written by TDP national president N Chandrababu Naidu. Employees are not ready to discharge duties in elections as thousands were affected by the coronavirus, he mentioned. Nani stated that the AP government cannot risk the lives of people for elections. He advised Ramesh to retire gracefully in March.
