SEC Nimmagadda Ramesh reacts to CS letter over the local elections
State Election Commissioner Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar has responded to a letter of the State Chief Secretary Neelam Sawhney over the postponement of the local polls citing covid threat. Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar has sent a phone message questioning the State government for interfering with the State Election Commission's constitutional rights.
He has also faulted the state government for questioning the judiciary powers of the state election commissioner. The clarity on this aspect will come out as SEC Ramesh Kumar will meet Governor Biswabhusan Harichandan over the whole episode and other burning issues of the state.
