CM Jagan speaks after launching expanded YSR Aarogyasri scheme across Andhra Pradesh

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy Tuesday launched the expanded YSR Aarogyasri scheme covering procedures costing more than Rs 1,000. The scheme is being implemented in seven districts of the state. On Tuesday, CM Jagan has launched the scheme in six more districts, namely East Godavari, Krishna, Potti Sriramulu Nellore, Chittoor, Anantapur, Srikakulam. The scheme, which applies to 2200 health diseases, is going to cover up other 234 diseases.
CM YS Jagan, while speaking on occasion, said the scheme is a boon to all poor people without paying a single rupee. It is a first of its kind health scheme in India, CM Jagan said.
