AP Cabinet approves new DPR for Bandar Port construction
AMARAVATI: The Andhra Pradesh government gave a green signal to the construction of the Bandar Port (Machilipatnam port) and AP Maritime board focused on the work. A high-level Cabinet Meeting was held on Thursday chaired by CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. After the meeting, Kurasala Kannababu, state Agriculture Minister addressed the media and discussed on several key decisions approved by the Cabinet.
A new Detailed Project Report (DPR)has submitted to the state government and the Cabinet approved the project after discussions. The estimated cost of the project is Rs 5,853 crore and scheduled to complete the work within 36 months.
