Somu Veerraju terms CPI Ramakrishna as Chandrababu agent
AP BJP president Somu Veerraju has termed CPI state secretary K Ramakrishna as an agent of TDP national president N Chandrababu Naidu. Addressing the media on Thursday, he slammed Chandrababu for telling lies regarding the construction of houses under his rule. Veerraju stated that 7 lakh houses were sanctioned to AP by the then Union Minister M Venkaiah Naidu. “But Chandrababu took up construction of 3.25 lakh out of 7 lakh houses. In which, only 60,000 were completed,” he explained. The BJP chief criticised Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for not sanctioning funds to houses that were incomplete during Chandrababu's tenure. He alleged that Rs 150 crore corruption took place in the purchase of lands for distribution of 30 lakh house site pattas.
