Covid scare preventing passengers to travel in RTC buses: Perni Nani
Transport Minister Perni Nani said fear of coronavirus is preventing passengers from travelling in RTC buses. Speaking to the media, the minister stated that the APSRTC will take six months to run its full fleet of buses despite entering an agreement with the TSRTC. He mentioned that people are showing interest to travel in their own vehicles rather than utilising the RTC buses.
At present, the RTC is running its services in revenue generation routes, he added. Nani stated that the RTC has yet to provide the work to its 45,000-50,000 employees. Rajahmundry MP Margani Bharat and other YSRCP leaders were present.
