CM KCR shows FCI order, faults Centre for capping paddy procurement price
Addressing the farmers after the inauguration of Rythu Vedika at Kodakandla village in Jangaon district on Saturday, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has faulted the Central government for capping paddy procurement price. He showed an order issued by the Food Corporation of India (FCI) for all the states.
The chief minister informed farmers that the Centre will not procure paddy if it was purchased for more than Rs 1,888 per quintal. He gave a call to farmers to raise voice against the injustice done by the BJP-led NDA government.
