CM KCR launches Rythu Vedika at Kodakandla in Jangaon district
Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao on Saturday inaugurated Rythu Vedika at Kodakandla village in Jangaon district. The Telangana government is planning to set up 2,604 Rythu Vedikas all over the state for the farmers. Each Rythu Vedika will cover a cluster of 5,000 acres. An Agriculture Extension Officer will be appointed for each cluster.
The purpose of Rythu Vedika was to educate farmers about advanced cultivation techniques for increasing output. Ministers Errabelli Dayakar Rao and Nirajan Reddy, Rythu Bandhu state president Palla Rajeshwar Reddy, Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar and other officials were present.
