AP govt failed to pay compensation to flood-hit farmers: Nara Lokesh
TDP national general secretary Nara Lokesh slammed the AP government for not paying compensation to flood-hit farmers. Speaking to the media on Friday, Lokesh asked Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to show concern towards farmers whose crops were damaged.
The TDP leader stated that a few ministers have criticised him for visiting the flood-affected areas and consoling people and farmers. He recalled that the previous TDP government had released Rs 160 crore for victims of Cyclone Titli in the Srikakulam district. Lokesh mentioned that the entire responsibility lies with the ruling state government to come to the rescue of farmers.
