Telangana Government removes Inter marks weightage in EAMCET 2020
HYDERABAD: Telangana government issued orders to relax the eligibility criteria for Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (TS EAMCET) 2020. According to the reports, the Telangana government on Thursday issued orders to remove the 45 per cent rule for 2020 admissions. It is known that students need to secure 45 per cent marks in intermediate for EAMCET eligibility.
Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the Telangana government passed all the students without conducting exams and awarded minimum pass marks. Now, the students who qualified the TS EAMCET failed to secure ranks due to the minimum marks in intermediate. This order will apply for this year only and not applicable to 2021-2022.
