AP CM YS Jagan writes to Central Minister to direct ISPs to block gaming, gambling sites
AMARAVATI: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy wrote a letter to Union Minister for Communications Ravi Shankar Prasad requesting to direct all the internet service providers to block the IP's of online gambling and gaming sites in the state. According to the sources, CM YS Jagan requested the minister Ravi Shankar to issue directions to internet service providers to block the IP's of betting, gambling and gaming websites in the state.
He said many people lost their life after losing money in gambling sites. Recently, the Andhra Pradesh government amended the AP Gaming Act 1974 and included online gaming, gambling and betting as an offensive.
