Unlock 5 guidelines extended till November 30
Reports from various corners indicated that corona cases have been slowing down in India compared with the previous. However, the threat remains. The Ministry of Home Affairs has extended the Unlock 5 guidelines to 30th November. After noticing a dip in daily coronavirus cases and a welcome rise in recovery rates, it took the decision. The home ministry has made it clear that lockdown will continue to be implemented strictly in all the Containment Zones till 30th November 2020.
The home ministry has announced the Unlock 5 guidelines on 30th September, and it came into effect the next day. Following safety measures like wearing face masks, following social distancing norms, provision for thermal scanning, and hand wash or sanitizer will be mandatory.
