Cops violated constitution by placing TDP leaders under house arrest in Kuppam: Chandrababu
TDP national president N Chandrababu Naidu wrote a letter to Chittoor SP S Senthil Kumar, alleging that police personnel have violated the Constitution by placing the TDP leaders and workers under house arrest in Kuppam. On Monday, the cops foiled rallies planned by the TDP and YSRCP functionaries in Kuppam.
In the letter, Chandrababu mentioned that people in Kuppam have tried to bring farm issues to the notice of the state government with a peaceful protest. The TDP supremo stated that the Constitution gave the right to people for staging peaceful protests.
