US secretary of state Mike Pompeo, defence secretary Mark Esper have arrived in New Delhi on Monday afternoon for India-US 2+2 dialogue. Pompeo and Esper will stay in India for two days and hold bilateral talks with their Indian counterparts S Jaishankar and Rajnath Singh and meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and National Security Adviser Ajit Doval. The key meeting will take place on Tuesday.
The holding of the third meeting of such kind will highlight the two countries sharing the diplomatic and security objectives.
