Kapil Dev discharged from Delhi hospital after undergoing angioplasty
Former Indian cricketer Kapil Dev was discharged from the hospital on Sunday. He underwent angioplasty at Fortis Escorts Heart Institute's emergency department in Delhi following a heart attack two days before. Dr. Mathur performed the angioplasty.
According to the report by the doctor, the 61-year-old World Cup-winning captain has been doing fine. He will soon be able to resume his daily activities. Of course, the former all-rounder Kapil Dev will be under regular follow-up consultations.
Angioplasty is a medical procedure done to open blocked arteries and restore normal blood flow to the heart.
