AR Rahman looks up to BTS

K-pop band BTS requires no introduction. It is well known for record-setting views for their YouTube music videos. It has recently topped the music charts with their latest track, Dynamite. Music composer AR Rahman has shared how the seven-member K-pop group has become a worldwide sensation.

In an exclusive interview with a national channel, Oscar and Grammy-winning music composer AR Rahman has heaped praise for BTS. AR Rahman has tried to explain how to market music in the right way. He regretted India losing the opportunity to cash in when Slumdog Millionaire music was doing well worldwide in 2009. Rahman has also shared how South Korea and BTS market their music.
