CM KCR appeals people to stay alert as heavy rains expected
Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao made an appeal to people to stay alert and be safe in view of the heavy rains expected in Hyderabad and in other parts of the state. He chaired a meeting on the flood situation attended by ministers and officials at Pragathi Bhavan in Hyderabad on Tuesday.
The CM directed officials to be on alert to deal with any eventuality. GHMC authorities were told to supervise water levels in 15 lakes located in and around Hyderabad. “Residents living in low-lying localities should be shifted to temporary shelter camps,” he stated.
