50% Indians likely to have had infection by February says government panel
HYDERABAD: At least 50 per cent of India's population is likely to infect with the novel Coronavirus by next February and it will help to slow the spread of the virus, said a member of a Central government committee. According to the reports, at now India reported 7.55 million cases and is second after the USA. But, the Coronavirus infections are reporting less after a peak in mid-September.
Manindra Agrawal, a professor at the Indian Institute for Technology in Kanpur said that mathematical model states that 30 per cent of the population in the country are infected and will be raised up to 50 per cent by February. Click the video for more information.
